Chungnam Province announced on June 26 that 15 bus transportation companies in the province signed a practice agreement on June 25 to implement the Chungnam Labor-Management-Government-Civil Society Joint Declaration in concrete terms.

The signing ceremony, held in the Chungnam Express conference room on the same day, was attended by over 50 participants, including representatives from the province, the Daejeon Regional Employment and Labor Office, and labor and management representatives from Chungnam bus transportation companies, all pledging to carry out the Joint Declaration.

The Daejeon Regional Employment and Labor Office will promote work-life balance support programs, provide incentives for childbirth and parenting leave, expand partnerships with affiliated companies, and discover outstanding companies in the province for recognition.

In addition, labor and management agreed to change working practices by introducing flexible work arrangements and staggered working hours, implement the "Top 10 Work Innovation Proposals" including the use of various work-life balance support systems and the activation of annual leave, and actively foster a corporate culture that encourages childbirth and parenting, such as parental leave, family care leave, and reduced working hours for parents of young children.

Park Jongbok, Director of Economic Planning for the province, stated, "The Chungnam Labor-Management-Government-Civil Society Council has decided to focus its efforts on supporting a happy life where work, personal life, and family are all valued, and on spreading work-life balance."
