BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Daein Visits Sancheong Wildfire-Affected Area

BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Daein, Gyeongnam Bank President Kim Taehan, and other key executives of BNK Financial Group visited Sancheong, Gyeongnam, which suffered major wildfire damage last March.

During this visit, BNK Financial Group provided practical support for recovery efforts, including the redevelopment of a wildfire-damaged rest park along the Jirisan main road (creation of the BNK Hope Garden) and improvements to the protective wall environment on Songhajungtae Village Road (creation of the BNK Oriole Path). The company also delivered consolation goods prepared by its employees and held a signing ceremony for the 'BNK Forest Management Project' to help restore forests lost to the wildfire.

Chairman Bin said, "I would like to once again express my deepest sympathy to the residents affected by the major wildfire last March, and I hope that BNK's visit will provide at least some comfort to the community." He added, "Going forward, BNK will continue to empathize with the hardships of the local community and be a reliable partner in overcoming them together."
