GS Construction announced on June 26 that it will begin sales for "Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City," which will be located in Dongsan-ri, Tangjeong-myeon, Asan-si, Chungnam Province.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City will consist of 9 buildings, ranging from 2 basement levels to 35 above-ground floors. The complex will offer a total of 1,238 units, including: 65 units of 59㎡A, 65 units of 59㎡B, 715 units of 84㎡A, 291 units of 84㎡B, 95 units of 84㎡C, 3 units of 125㎡PA, and 4 units of 125㎡PB.
Applications will begin with a special supply on July 2, followed by first-priority applications on July 3 and second-priority applications on July 4. The winners will be announced on July 10, and contracts for successful applicants will be signed over three days from July 21 to July 23. Move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2028.
Eligibility for application requires that, as of the date of the announcement, applicants must be residents of Asan-si, Chungnam Province, Daejeon-si, or Sejong-si, be at least 19 years old, and have held a subscription savings account for at least six months, while also meeting the required deposit amounts by region and unit size. Applicants can apply as first-priority even if they already own a home, and there are no restrictions on re-winning. Immediate resale is possible after full payment of the contract deposit (10%).
The revised subscription system also applies: households with children born after June 19, 2023, are eligible for an additional special supply opportunity in the newlywed, multi-child, or elderly parent support categories, even if they have already received a special supply once. Both spouses can apply for special supply (if both are selected, the earlier applicant will be recognized), and for the newlywed special supply, eligibility previously required the household to be without a home throughout the marriage period, but now, as long as the household is without a home as of the announcement date, they are eligible to apply.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City is located at the center connecting the Buldang district, the most preferred residential area in Cheonan, and the planned large-scale development project Asan Tangjeong 2 District. The Buldang district leads real estate prices in the Asan and Cheonan area, offering abundant living infrastructure and educational facilities, while Asan Tangjeong 2 District is being developed as a large-scale urban project to accommodate approximately 46,000 people. In particular, Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City is expected to benefit from a new connecting road to the Buldang district, which will further improve accessibility.
A GS Construction sales representative stated, "The value of our brand, combined with the proven local infrastructure, and the addition of Tangjeong 2 District, will make Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City a new residential hub for the Asan and Cheonan regions."
