Held under the theme "We Are Korea's Future, K-Robot," the event featured a keynote speech by Kim Jin-o, President of the Korea Association of Robot Industry, who outlined the future direction of Korea's robotics industry. Kang Heejin, Senior Researcher at the Samsung Securities Research Center, shared the industry's mid- to long-term growth outlook, stating, "Korean robotics companies possess sufficient competitiveness in the global market based on their customer-tailored manufacturing capabilities and outstanding quality."
Following the keynote, six listed and unlisted robotics companies?UniRobotics, Robotis, SBVTech, ARobot, Robros, and AidinRobotics?introduced their technological capabilities and growth strategies. Notably, each company's CEO and IR officer personally delivered presentations, providing investors with practical insights.
Despite inclement weather, approximately 150 Samsung Securities KSS IR members and investors, including CVCs, VCs, and Samsung Securities SNI clients, attended the event, demonstrating strong interest in the robotics industry. Baek Hyejin, Executive Director and Head of the Central Regional Headquarters of Samsung Securities WM Division, said, "Even on a rainy day, the presence of so many investors allowed us to feel the enthusiasm for the robotics industry," adding, "We plan to hold another event in the second half of the year in consultation with the Korea Association of Robot Industry."
Samsung Securities and the Korea Association of Robot Industry signed a strategic MOU in May to foster an investment ecosystem and nurture the industry for promising robotics companies. This 'KSS IR Day' marks the beginning of full-fledged collaboration between the two organizations, and a wider range of cooperative models is planned for the future.
