On June 24, Gwangju Mayor Bang Sehyun visited three major local companies consecutively to listen to their difficulties in business operations and opinions on current issues, and to discuss necessary support measures on site.

This field visit targeted three companies, including Sweet Korea Co., Ltd. During meetings with company representatives, Mayor Bang identified challenges across all aspects of business operations, such as production, employment, and exports. He also toured the production sites to encourage workers and sought practical solutions to address these difficulties.

Notably, the Gwangju City Mobile Job Center also participated in the day's schedule, providing on-site consultations with companies experiencing labor shortages. The center offered employment services closely tailored to the field, including talent matching based on recruitment needs and guidance on various support policies.

Mayor Bang stated, "The business site is not simply a space for production; it is the backbone of the local economy and a key factor determining the quality of life for citizens. I will continue to listen carefully to the voices from the field and strive to connect them to effective policies."

Meanwhile, the city plans to use this field visit as an opportunity to develop more systematic, customized support measures reflecting the needs of businesses, strengthen regular communication with companies, and accelerate the realization of field-oriented administration.
