Expand Your Dreams Worldwide... Youngjin College Holds Overseas Advanced Technology Training Group Launch Ceremony Students and university officials shouting "Fighting" at the '2025 Overseas Advanced Technology Training Group Launch Ceremony' held by Youngjin College on the 25th.

The Overseas Advanced Technology Training Program aims to realize the university's vision, 'Global Leader! Youngjin College Vision 2030,' and to foster 'global top-class' talent who can freely pursue their dreams on the world stage.

The training will begin on July 2, when 21 first- and second-year students in the Department of Precision Mechanical Engineering (Professional Technical Master's Program) depart for Japan. They will visit three companies, including Kyocera Corporation, to participate in hands-on training in mold design, measurement and quality inspection of processed products, and attend special lectures on AI, robotics technology, and sustainable technology.

In the Department of Nursing, 20 second- and third-year students will leave for Sydney, Australia, on July 11 and, until July 26, will experience advanced medical environments through clinical practice at local hospitals in addition to nursing English classes.

The Department of Companion Animals will participate in the 'International Dog Show' held in Thailand for eight days starting July 24. Students will take part in practical programs such as observing various dog breeds and learning professional handling techniques.

This training group consists of 158 students participating during the summer vacation and 106 students in the second semester, allowing them to experience specialized overseas advanced technologies in their respective majors. Through this, students will enhance their practical skills, deepen their understanding of their majors, and strengthen their global job competencies.

At the launch ceremony, Park Haeun (second-year student in the Department of Beauty Convergence), who participated in the 2024 Japan training, shared her preparation process and vivid experiences on site, providing useful information to her juniors.

Vice President Park Jongbaek said, "I hope this overseas training will be an opportunity for you to expand your dreams globally," and added, "We will continue to provide generous support for various international programs to strengthen your global competencies."

Meanwhile, Youngjin College achieved the distinction of being ranked first nationwide in overseas employment among all two-year and four-year colleges in Korea, thanks to its systematic global programs and specialized overseas employment curricula. According to the Ministry of Education's university information disclosure employment rate statistics (graduates of 2024) released in January this year, Youngjin College placed 101 graduates in overseas companies such as those in Japan, producing the highest number of overseas employees among all universities in Korea.

In particular, as a result of operating customized overseas employment programs focused on IT, mechanical engineering, electronics, and tourism services, a total of 733 students found employment overseas over the past seven years (2017-2023). In recognition of these achievements, the college was also selected as the 'Most Respected Junior College in Korea for 2025.'
