300,000 Crab Alive Burgers Sold in One Week
700,000 Squid Alive Burgers Sold in Three Weeks

Lotte GRS, which operates the burger franchise brand Lotteeria, announced on the 26th that its new menu item, the 'Alive Burger' series, has surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 1.2 million units. This achievement comes just one month after its launch on May 22.

The Alive Burger series consists of a total of four types: two Crab Alive Burgers and two Squid Alive Burgers.

The Crab Alive Burger, which is the first in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry to use soft-shell crab, stands out for its rich ocean flavor and unique appearance. On the day of its release, it surpassed the sales composition ratio of 'Ria Shrimp,' one of Lotteeria's bestsellers. It recorded sales of 300,000 units within one week, achieving 264% of the target sales volume. According to CRM analysis by age group, customers in their 20s and 30s accounted for 73% of purchases.

The Squid Alive Burger is a product that consumers have requested to be re-released every year. It gained popularity with 700,000 units sold over three weeks, and a receipt survey showed that it had the highest repurchase intention among all new Lotteeria products released in the past year. Comparing the average daily sales per store for five days after the launch of last year's four Alive Burger types and this year's four types, there was a 17% increase compared to the previous year.

A Lotte GRS representative stated, "We are delighted that the four Alive Burger types, following the earlier success of the 'Napolimafia Burger' earlier this year, have also received tremendous love from consumers," adding, "We plan to continue delighting our customers this summer by introducing new menu items that can only be found at Lotteeria."
