Yuhan Corporation Launches Personal Blood Glucose Monitor 'Yuhantang Check'

On June 25, Yuhan Corporation announced the official launch of its new personal blood glucose monitor, 'Yuhantang Check', in the domestic market. The product was developed by Osang Healthcare, a domestic medical device specialist manufacturer, and will be distributed by Yuhan Corporation.

'Yuhantang Check' is a blood glucose monitor that further enhances convenience and reliability, which are essential for personal health management. It features a user-friendly design, an intuitive indicator function, and a large 2.5-inch display, among other strengths. In particular, blood glucose measurement results are displayed with a color indicator, allowing elderly users or those unfamiliar with such devices to easily understand their health status.

Yuhan Corporation plans to actively respond to the self-healthcare market demand not only from diabetes patients but also from general consumers interested in blood glucose levels through 'Yuhantang Check'. The company is also exploring the potential to expand into smart device-linked services, such as continuous glucose monitors (CGM), and will continue to strengthen its responsibility and role in promoting public health.

Meanwhile, 'Yuhantang Check' is available for purchase at pharmacies, and the company plans to expand its healthcare-related portfolio through pharmacies in the future.
