Korea Investment & Securities announced on June 25 that it will offer a special repurchase agreement (RP) product exclusively for BanKIS, its online-only service, to customers until August 31.
This special RP product has a maturity of 31 days and offers a pre-tax annual yield of 3.0%. Subscriptions are available up to a total limit of 100 billion KRW, with a maximum of 1 billion KRW per individual. Customers can subscribe without any additional requirements as long as they have a BanKIS-exclusive RP-CMA account, and the product features real-time trading available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Koo Bonjeong, Head of eBiz Division at Korea Investment & Securities, stated, "We have introduced 24-hour RP trading services to enhance customer convenience and asset growth opportunities," adding, "We will continue to provide a variety of products and differentiated services going forward."
The special product can be subscribed to through the 'Hantoo' mobile application.
