Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Hanjong) announced on the 25th that it received the Excellent Local Government Award at the 2025 Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Expo, National Farm Expo.

The county was recognized for its differentiated promotional strategies and systematic consultations, which contributed to the revitalization of return-to-farming and rural settlement, by operating a policy consultation booth and an agricultural specialty products exhibition and promotion center during the expo.
The consultation booth provided tailored policy guidance and expert consultations, and information sessions were held for trainees recruited through the 'Greendaero' portal to offer related information. In addition, at the agricultural specialty products promotion center, local return-to-farming residents from Jangseong exhibited specialty products such as rice and hinoki cypress products they produced themselves, attracting the interest of visitors.
Governor Kim Hanjong stated, "We will help urban residents successfully settle in Jangseong through systematic policies and customized support."
