Baemin B Mart Expands Early Morning Delivery Store Operations

Early Morning Delivery Now Available at 8 Locations... Opens at 6 a.m.
Targeting Demand from Office Workers and Parents for Early Morning Grocery Shopping

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on June 25 that it has expanded its early opening service area by moving up the opening hours of some Baemin B Mart stores to 6 a.m.

Since March, Baemin has been operating the early opening service, and on June 24, it added three more B Mart locations?Eunpyeong, Uijeongbu, and Incheon Bupyeong?to the early opening service. As a result, a total of eight B Mart locations, including Gangbuk Mia and Bucheon, now start this service at 6 a.m., three hours earlier than the previous opening time of 9 a.m.

The expansion of this service is intended to meet the needs of office workers and parents who do not have enough time to shop due to getting ready for work or taking care of their families. It is also expected to provide delivery riders with an opportunity to earn additional income by receiving orders early in the morning.

With the expansion of early opening stores, B Mart customers can now receive instant deliveries as well as scheduled deliveries early in the morning. They can also receive a variety of fresh groceries, including dairy products, ready-to-eat meals, bakery items, meat, and fruit for breakfast preparation.

Lee Hyojin, Head of the Commerce Division at Woowa Brothers, said, "We decided to add more stores with extended operating hours to provide a more attractive quick commerce experience to consumers who are already accustomed to dawn deliveries and have diverse needs. We will actively consider expanding the service area to all of Seoul, the metropolitan area, and other regions in the future, while also transforming B Mart into a core service for grocery shopping."
