Five Daily Flights from Busan, One from Daegu
Asiana Airlines announced on June 25 that it has launched a connecting reservation service for domestic flights linking regional airports and Incheon Airport.
When booking international flights through the website, passengers can also reserve transfer-only domestic flights operated by Korean Air on the Busan-Incheon route (five times daily) and the Daegu-Incheon route (once daily). If the departure or arrival location is set as a regional airport on the website, the Incheon Airport transfer itinerary is automatically displayed, allowing customers to complete their booking in a single transaction.
The transfer-only domestic flights are direct flights between regional airports (Gimhae and Daegu) and Incheon Airport, and are available exclusively to passengers transferring to international flights at Incheon Airport.
All Asiana Airlines international routes are eligible for the connecting reservation service. Customers who wish to add a domestic flight segment to an existing international itinerary departing from Incheon can contact the reservation center or the ticketing office where the ticket was purchased.
An Asiana Airlines representative stated, "We have launched the online connecting reservation service to enhance travel convenience for passengers departing from regional areas," adding, "By using these domestic flights, travelers can complete immigration procedures and baggage handling at once, making their journey even more convenient."
