Lotte Water Park is ramping up its water attractions and summer season programs in response to the unusually early heat this year.
The park is opening its main facilities, including the signature slide 'Giant Boomerango,' and introducing new content such as 'Pink Island' and the nighttime show 'Giant Wave Festa.'
The popular slide 'Giant Boomerango' is a high-intensity attraction that can accommodate up to six people at once, soaring up to 21 meters in the air. It is considered a must-try for summer visitors. In addition, the new water slide 'Magic Hook' will begin operations on June 28. It features a design focused on speed and dramatic water drop effects.
'Pink Island,' which opened in June, is a sand play experience zone. The Tiki Pool area has been decorated with a pink theme, and features content aimed at families, such as photo zones and bubble parties. Admission is 10,000 won, and guardians accompanying infants can enter for 5,000 won. Discount packages combined with all-day water park passes are also available for purchase until July 11.
On July 12, the outdoor 'Wave Stage' will host the music festival 'Giant Wave Festa.' The event will include K-POP dance performances, a water EDM party, and interactive events. On July 26, August 2, and August 9, special nighttime performances featuring popular artists are also scheduled.
A Lotte Water Park representative stated, "We aim to maximize customer satisfaction with a variety of summer season content and further enhance the seasonality of the water park."
