Samsung Electronics has launched three new 2025 Smart Monitor models?M9, M8, and M7?with enhanced AI (artificial intelligence) features.
According to Samsung Electronics on June 25, the new lineup consists of the M9 (32-inch), which features an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) panel; the M8 (32-inch), which boasts a slim design; and the M7 (43-inch and 32-inch), which comes with a new moving stand.
The three new 2025 Smart Monitor models are characterized by AI features that enhance the convenience of content viewing. They include AI Picture Optimization, which delivers optimal picture quality based on the type of content detected, and Active Voice Pro, which analyzes voices, background sounds within content, and ambient noise around the monitor to make dialogue clearer.
Samsung Electronics has introduced the M9 model equipped with an OLED panel for the first time in its Smart Monitor lineup. The M9, featuring an OLED panel, delivers deep blacks and vivid colors. It has received both Pantone Color Validation and Pantone Skintone Validation from the global color authority Pantone, accurately reproducing more than 2,000 Pantone standard colors and 110 skin tones.
Samsung’s proprietary burn-in prevention technology, Samsung OLED Safeguard+, has been applied, allowing users to operate the monitor without concerns about burn-in. The monitor also supports NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and features a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a rapid response time of 0.03ms, ensuring smooth and seamless gameplay even for high-spec games.
In response to the steadily increasing consumer demand for portable screens, Samsung Electronics has also launched a new "L-shaped" arm-type moving stand, Moving Stand Standard, which is compatible with the Smart Monitor M7. The Moving Stand Standard allows for easy height adjustment with just a light push. The existing "I-shaped" moving stand has been renamed Moving Stand Lite.
Both the Moving Stand Standard and Lite are available in white and black, and offer an optional removable shelf. Users can choose the color and shelf option to suit their interior preferences and lifestyle. Both stands support a pivot function, allowing the monitor to be tilted up to 90 degrees or positioned completely upright, enabling flexible adjustment for various usage environments and spaces.
Samsung Electronics will sell the new moving stand bundled with the Smart Monitor M7 as the Moving Style M7. The company also plans to sequentially introduce various Moving Style products that combine the new moving stand with TVs.
The Smart Monitor M9 is available in silver with a retail price of 1,990,000 won. The M8 comes in warm white with a retail price of 900,000 won. The M7 is available in white and black, with prices ranging from 560,000 to 690,000 won depending on color and size.
Samsung Electronics has prepared a variety of benefits for customers who pre-order the 2025 Smart Monitor models. Customers who sign up for a launch notification on Samsung.com from June 25 to July 4 will receive a discount coupon worth up to 150,000 won, which can be used to purchase the 2025 Smart Monitor models.
During the same period, customers who purchase the new Smart Monitor M9 or M8 on Samsung.com will receive a Harman Kardon LUNA or JBL FLIP 7 speaker, respectively. In addition, customers who purchase the Smart Monitor M7 can receive a moving stand by paying an additional amount of up to 150,000 won as part of a special promotion.
