The invitees include national merit recipients and their families, heads of veterans' organizations, and special guests, totaling around 160 people. The event slogan has been set as 'Honoring noble sacrifice, we will repay you with a better Republic of Korea.'
The Office of the President explained, "This event is an occasion to honor the heroes who sacrificed for the nation and to reaffirm the state's commitment to repay them."
