1,200 Bowls of Love Gukbap Gifted to Dalseo Senior Welfare Center

Dalseo Food and Love Volunteer Group Shares Hanwoo Gukbap and Bulgogi

An event honoring the Month of Patriots and Veterans was held at the Dalseo Senior Welfare Center in Daegu, dedicated to serving the elderly.

On June 17, the Dalseo Senior Welfare Center, in collaboration with the Dalseo Food and Love Volunteer Group, hosted the "Love Hanwoo Gukbap & Bulgogi Sharing Day," expressing gratitude and respect to 1,200 local seniors.

Kang Youngdae, head of the volunteer group, said, "Although it is just a bowl of gukbap, I sincerely hope our seniors enjoy the meal and stay healthy throughout the coming summer."

This event was organized to recognize and repay the dedication and sacrifices of the elderly who have contributed to the country's development and the local community.

The volunteer group, which also carried out a warm sharing event on Parents' Day in May, once again comforted the elderly by carefully preparing Hanwoo gukbap and bulgogi in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

Dalseo Senior Welfare Center held the "Love Hanwoo Gukbap & Bulgogi Sharing Day" event on the 17th together with the Dalseo Food and Love Volunteer Group.

Kang Youngdae, head of the volunteer group, stated, "I always keep in mind the saying that a nation that forgets its history has no future," and added, "We prepared this free meal to express our gratitude and respect to the seniors who have worked so hard for the development of the country and our community."

In this way, the Dalseo Senior Welfare Center and the Dalseo Food and Love Volunteer Group plan to continue providing a variety of ongoing support activities for the elderly, rather than limiting their efforts to one-time events.
