This lecture, organized as part of the 'No Math Dropouts in Schools Project,' presented positive ways for parents to get involved in preparation for mathematics learning, which becomes more intensive from the third grade of elementary school.
Lee Donghwan, a professor at Busan National University of Education who delivered the lecture, said, "Parents should not be people who simply provide the right answers, but rather serve as a safe space where children feel secure even when they make mistakes."
One parent commented, "From now on, I will first listen to my child's thoughts and try to reflect together." Superintendent Lee Jeongseon stated, "I will do my best to ensure there are no math dropouts in schools."
