Boseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on June 24 that it will officially operate 'Yulpo Solbat Beach' for 44 days from July 12 to August 24 to welcome summer vacationers.

'Yulpo Solbat Beach' is famous for its scenic landscape, featuring a silver sandy beach about 1 km long and a grove of pine trees aged 50 to 60 years. In particular, nature-friendly features such as a loess walking path for barefoot strolls and a romantic promenade are harmoniously combined, attracting countless vacationers every year.

The beach will also offer a variety of marine leisure programs. In addition to thrilling activities such as banana boat rides and water skiing, there will be a range of attractions including clean mudflat experiences for families and street performances (busking).

Since April, the county has strengthened guidance and removal measures for unauthorized camping and long-term abandoned tents, restoring the public nature and cleanliness of the beach. Currently, illegal camping and cooking activities have been largely eradicated, creating a safe and pleasant beach environment that everyone can enjoy with peace of mind.

A county official stated, "Yulpo Solbat Beach is a pristine healing destination where visitors can enjoy marine leisure, pine forest walks, and nature experiences without the burden of entrance or parking fees. We will continue to operate it as a summer tourist spot that satisfies both residents and visitors through thorough safety management, hygiene measures, and facility inspections."

Meanwhile, nearby 'Yulpo Solbat Beach' are facilities such as the 'Yulpo Haesu Nokcha Center', which combines rock seawater drawn from 120 meters underground with Boseong green tea; the 'Hoecheon Seafood Market', where visitors can find fresh seafood; the popular 'Boseong Bibong Dinosaur Park' for family visitors; and the 'Sea Fishing Park'.

Additionally, the beach is close to Boseong's major tourist attractions, including Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation, Botjae, and the Korea Tea Museum, making it an attractive destination for combined tours.
