Stray Kids Wins "Favorite Music Group"
at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards
Second K-pop Artist After BTS
The group Stray Kids won the "Favorite Music Group" category at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards, a major American pop culture awards ceremony.
According to their agency, JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids were selected as winners at the awards ceremony held on June 21 (local time) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, United States. This was announced on June 24.
The Kids Choice Awards is an event where winners are determined by votes from Nickelodeon viewers, and stars who have gained popularity in various fields such as music, television, and film are nominated.
At this year's ceremony, Stray Kids were nominated in two categories: "Favorite Music Group" and "Favorite Global Music Star." Among these, they took home the trophy for "Favorite Music Group." Among K-pop artists, this is the second time the award has been won in this category, following BTS.
This year, Stray Kids have won at several global music awards ceremonies. In March, at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards, they received the "Music Video of the Year" and "Best 3 Albums" awards. At the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, they won the "K-pop Album of the Year" category for the second consecutive year.
Furthermore, at the 2025 American Music Awards, Stray Kids' song "Come Play," which is included in the soundtrack album for season 2 of the Netflix animation "ARCANE," was selected in the "Favorite Soundtrack" category.
Currently, Stray Kids are on a world tour. They are scheduled to perform in Chicago on June 26 and in Toronto on June 29, followed by major stadiums in European cities such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris, and Rome.
