Emgen Solution: Subsidiary to Supply AI Fire Detection and Suppression System to Automotive Painting Company Praco

Emgen Solution announced on June 24 that its subsidiary, Hyundai Infracore, has signed a contract to supply an AI (artificial intelligence) fire detection and suppression system to Praco.

Praco operates the largest mold factory among domestic automotive plastic parts companies. By localizing automotive parts production molds that previously relied on Japan and other countries, Praco exports molds to numerous global automotive parts companies, including Renault and Mahindra.

Praco's Czech subsidiary counts Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Hyundai Mobis among its clients. In addition, the company has completed registration as a parts supplier to automakers such as BMW, GM, Volkswagen, and Chrysler, and it is reported that actual deliveries are being made to Volkswagen.

With this contract, Emgen Solution will supply the AI fire detection and suppression system for the painting line at Praco's Asan plant.

Emgen Solution utilizes AI video analysis technology to enable automatic detection and nozzle discharge within 30 seconds of a fire outbreak, allowing suppression within the critical golden time. This technology is highly applicable in real industrial settings, and its supply is expanding to numerous factories and local governments.

Recently, Emgen Solution has introduced an AI fire detection and suppression robot developed with its subsidiary, further advancing its technology and increasing its market share. This robot is capable of fully autonomous driving and self-decision-making, allowing it to navigate obstacles and slopes. It also features an unmanned patrol function, enhancing its versatility.

In particular, Emgen Solution's fire detection and suppression system is the only one in Korea certified for disaster safety that features automatic unmanned spraying of an extinguishing agent specifically for lithium batteries, enabling it to respond not only to general fires but also to electric vehicle fires.

A company representative stated, "Interest in worker protection has been increasing recently due to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act," and added, "Inquiries about additional adoption of the AI fire detection and suppression system are continuously increasing from various industrial sites and local governments."
