Dimoa, a company specializing in education and IT solutions, is accelerating its entry into the AI cybersecurity business.

On June 24, Dimoa announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Espresto, an advanced cybersecurity company, at Dimoa headquarters in Seobinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on June 23, to expand the market supply of its AI-based information security solution, "Monitor Dog."

This agreement was attended by Lee Hyuksu, CEO of Dimoa, and Son Donghyun, CEO of Espresto. The two companies discussed and agreed to cooperate on expanding the distribution of AI security solutions, technical collaboration, and joint marketing strategies targeting partners. With this agreement, Dimoa aims to maximize synergy by actively leveraging Espresto's AI security solution technology and Dimoa's distribution infrastructure, which is specialized for the education and public sectors.

Monitor Dog, an on-device next-generation AI security solution, is designed to prevent both cyber and physical information leakage. Among its features, the solution uses AI vision and anti-recognition technologies to detect suspicious recording activities in front of a monitor, blocking or distorting the screen when such behavior is detected. This can be used to protect advanced corporate technologies from industrial espionage, as well as to safeguard sensitive personal information more broadly.

The new technology in Monitor Dog addresses and advances the blind spots of existing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies. It features an intelligent monitoring system that detects both cyber and physical actions by users, enabling real-time detection and blocking to prevent information leakage attempts in advance. In particular, it is gaining attention for its ability to immediately detect and respond to both intentional and unintentional leakage activities, such as taking photos or attempting to format data.

Son Donghyun, CEO of Espresto, stated, "As internal information leakage incidents become increasingly sophisticated, Monitor Dog will become a new standard for protecting the information assets of companies and institutions. Through our partnership with Dimoa, we will deliver our technology to even more customers."

Espresto, the developer of Monitor Dog's technology, is an information security company that addresses confidential and personal information leakage issues occurring in offline spaces such as advanced industrial facilities, offices, military installations, and public venues, using AI-based endpoint security and optical lighting technologies. Espresto has received a "TI-2" (Very Excellent) rating in the TCB (Technology Credit Bureau) evaluation for investment purposes, and notably, in March, launched Monitor Dog technology in Indonesia.

Lee Hyuksu, CEO of Dimoa, said, "With security emerging as a key issue across the digital environment, we are pleased to collaborate with Espresto, a company specializing in AI security solutions. Through this partnership, we will contribute to creating a safe and trustworthy work environment."
