Samsung Electronics' new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, will be unveiled on July 9.

On June 24, Samsung Electronics released an invitation and announced that it will hold 'Galaxy Unpacked 2025' on July 9 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

The accompanying video features graphics that appear to emphasize the slimness of the Galaxy Z Fold. According to foreign media outlets and industry sources, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to feature a thickness of 3.9mm when unfolded, an 8.2-inch display, and Android 16. The Z Flip7 is expected to come with a 6.85-inch main display, a thickness of 6.9mm, Android 15, and the ONE UI 8 operating system.

Samsung Electronics stated that it has been dedicated to developing foldable phones that are not only easy to carry but also highly usable. Through its newsroom, Samsung Electronics hinted at the new foldable phones, saying, "With every generation, we have made the Galaxy Z series thinner, lighter, and more durable. This year, our journey is reaching a new turning point."

The artificial intelligence (AI) feature, 'Galaxy AI,' is also expected to be improved. In the invitation, Samsung Electronics stated, "Smartphones are no longer just tools that house various apps and functions. They are now evolving into daily companions that understand user intentions and respond in real time," adding, "AI is becoming the interface, initiating a new experience that goes beyond simply reacting, by predicting user intentions and next actions and executing them instantly."

The company continued, "Samsung Electronics has focused on hardware design optimized for AI-centric interfaces," and announced, "The next-generation Galaxy devices will be redefined from the structural stage to provide a deeper user experience."

Previously, Samsung Electronics released teaser videos on its newsroom on June 4 and June 10. Each teaser highlighted Galaxy AI and the slimness of the Galaxy Z Fold7.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Unpacked 2025 will be broadcast live worldwide via Samsung.com and the Samsung Electronics YouTube channel. The event can be viewed from 11:00 p.m. KST on July 9.
