Shin Ji (real name Lee Jiseon, age 44) of the group Koyote will marry Moon Won (real name Park Sangmoon, age 37), a ballad singer seven years her junior, in the first half of next year.
On the 24th, their agency JZ Star announced, "Shin Ji will hold her wedding at a venue in Seoul in the first half of next year." The couple revealed their marriage plans after taking their wedding photos the previous day.
The two first met when Moon Won appeared on MBC Standard FM Radio's "Single Bungle Show," which Shin Ji hosted, and later developed a romantic relationship.
On the night before, Shin Ji shared on social media, "We decided to take our wedding photos in advance, considering our busy schedules with the Sydney performance, album release, and domestic tour concerts," adding, "We will personally announce the wedding date next year."
Shin Ji debuted in 1998 as the main vocalist of Koyote and released numerous hit songs, including "Pure Love," "Breakup," "Fashion," "Blue," and "Disco King." Moon Won debuted in 2012 with the song "Live With Me," and appeared on JTBC's "Hidden Singer 1" Yoon Minsoo episode and MBC's "Trot National Sports Festival."
The two will release a duet song titled "Shalakadula" on the 26th. Regarding the song, the agency described it as a fairy tale-style ballad that captures the emotions of the moment when love arrives like magic.
