On June 23, Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province held the opening ceremony for the 'Hwaseong Special City Gajokmanse Center,' a comprehensive family support facility built in Hyangnam-eup.

Located at 16, Pyeong 2-gil, Hyangnam-eup, the Gajokmanse Center consists of one basement floor and five above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 6,730 square meters. The city established this space to provide inclusive family services.
The center is equipped with a large auditorium (Manse Hall), which also serves as a public wedding venue, as well as a multipurpose communication and exchange area, family counseling rooms, a shared childcare center, and a small library.
The center offers integrated services such as family counseling to strengthen family functions, family education tailored to each life stage, customized programs for single-person households, support for empowering marriage immigrants, operation of shared childcare centers, support for multicultural families, and child care services.
The city explained that with the opening of the center, together with the Hwaseong City Family Center's eastern branch located within the Byeongjeom U&I Center, it has completed a family support system centered on both the eastern and western residential areas, ensuring improved accessibility and expertise in services.
The center is operated under consignment by the Hyupsung University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation. A total of 46 regular staff members and 338 specialized personnel, including child care workers, run 43 healthy family and multicultural support projects, child care support projects, and 11 shared childcare centers.
Mayor Myunggeun Jeong of Hwaseong City stated, "The Hwaseong City Family Center will become a hub for improving the quality of life for citizens and for the joint growth of the local community."
