The 1388 Youth Support Group is a voluntary private organization that aims to identify at-risk youth early and provide them with resources, either free of charge or for a fee, through the participation of individuals and organizations.

Approximately 30 volunteers attended the appointment ceremony that day, pledging their active participation in addressing youth issues. These volunteers will serve as the eyes and ears to help at-risk youth, providing necessary support and information.

Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, who attended the ceremony, stated, "The 1388 Youth Support Group, which brings together the local community, is a volunteer organization that serves as a stepping stone to give hope and encouragement to young people." He added, "I expect that even more active voluntary participation from the private sector will become a great source of strength for the youth in our community."

On the same day, Jeon Minho, commander of the Hwado-eup EBC Military Police, was appointed as the leader of the 1388 Youth Support Group.

Commander Jeon Minho stated, "Protecting youth is not the responsibility of just a few organizations." He continued, "We will continue to create a safety network in which the entire community shares responsibility through a variety of activities."

Namyangju City also announced its plans to continue working with the local community to strengthen the youth safety network, so that young people can grow up in a safe and happy environment.
