June 27, 8 p.m. at Citizens' Square
Goheung County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Gong Youngmin) announced on June 23 that it will host the third stage of the '2025 Goheung-eup Drone Show Busking Performance' at 8 p.m. on June 27 at the Citizens' Square in front of Goheung County Office.
This performance will feature a lively and refreshing lineup of popular songs and trot music to help beat the early summer heat. In the first part, trot singer Baek Seungmin, who enjoys great popularity among people of all ages, will perform a variety of trot songs.
The following stage will feature guitarist Joo Kwongi and saxophonist Choi Georyong, who is known for his outstanding saxophone skills. Together, they will present a rich live and duet performance covering everything from folk songs to popular music.
An official from the county said, "We hope that many audience members will have an enjoyable time with family, friends, and neighbors, and come to appreciate the value of cultural and artistic experiences," adding, "We will continue to provide performances that all generations can enjoy together."
Meanwhile, under the theme 'Starry Night Busking Uniting Citizens,' the county is holding the 'Culture Day' event at 8 p.m. on the last Friday of every month from April to October at the square in front of Goheung County Office. By offering a variety of performances, the county provides opportunities for both residents and tourists to experience diverse cultural events, and presents busking performances prior to the Goheung-eup Drone Show to help people enjoy culture and the arts in their daily lives.
In addition, the county plans to stage 'Jamkkanman' at the Kim Yeonsu Hall of Goheung Culture Center on June 26. The performance centers around the theme of how the colors from masterpieces spread across the canvas of our lives.
