Hanam City Recruiting Food Truck Operators for Dangjeongteul... Applications Accepted Until the 27th

Hanam City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that it is accepting applications for two new food truck operators to be stationed at Dangjeongteul, 244 Sinjang-dong, from June 16 to June 27. The final selected operators will be allowed to run their businesses on site for one year, from August 16, 2025, to August 15, 2026.

A total of two food trucks will be selected, with each being allocated a space of 10 square meters (2 meters wide by 5 meters long). Operating hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Operations are permitted only within the designated, painted areas.

Food truck operations must be conducted at fixed locations. Permitted business types are limited to snack bar operations or bakery operations as defined by the Enforcement Decree of the Food Sanitation Act. Specific menu items will be determined through consultation.

Hanam City plans to review and evaluate the applicants and select the final operators in July.

Eligibility is limited to individuals whose address on the resident registration certificate or whose business location on the business registration certificate is in Hanam City as of the announcement date (June 16). Only one family member may apply.

Priority will be given to the following groups: youth facing employment difficulties as defined in Article 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on Promotion of Youth Employment (ages 15 to 34); recipients of benefits under Article 7, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 1 to 3 of the National Basic Living Security Act; registered persons with disabilities as defined in Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities; and national merit recipients, their bereaved families, or family members as defined in Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Honorable Treatment and Support of Persons of Distinguished Service to the State.

Applicants wishing to participate must prepare the application form and supporting documents specified in the announcement and submit them in person to the Bicycle Team of the Road Management Division at Hanam City Hall, or by email (vkilmer@korea.kr).
