Export Consultation Booth to Be Operated at the Gwangju Future Industry Expo
Gwangju FTA Center to Provide On-Site Support for Export Companies at Kimdaejung Convention Center, June 25-27
The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on June 23 that the Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center (hereinafter referred to as the FTA Center) will operate an export consultation booth at the site of the "Gwangju Future Industry Expo," which will be held for three days from June 25 to June 27 at the Kimdaejung Convention Center.
The Gwangju Future Industry Expo, where the booth will be set up, is a large-scale industrial exhibition hosted by Gwangju City. The event centers on the region's future key industries, such as mobility, mold, and robotics, and features participation from over 300 domestic and international companies that will showcase a wide range of industrial technologies and products.
The consultation booth is designed to help local export companies resolve various difficulties they encounter on-site and to enhance their capacity to utilize FTAs. Song Hongcheol, a customs broker affiliated with the Gwangju FTA Center, plans to provide customized, one-on-one, free consultations covering all aspects of export operations, including procedures for issuing certificates of origin, FTA application criteria by agreement, and difficulties with overseas customs clearance.
Anyone can freely visit the booth during the event period without prior registration. Not only business professionals but also ordinary citizens and students interested in trade or overseas markets will have the opportunity to communicate directly with experts.
An official from the Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center stated, "This consultation booth will serve as a practical support channel that can promptly respond to export and trade inquiries that may arise at the exhibition site. Even companies unfamiliar with FTA utilization can receive expert consultations simply by visiting the site, so we encourage you to participate without hesitation and receive practical assistance."
