The Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon will be distributed to all citizens in amounts ranging from a minimum of 100,000 won to a maximum of 500,000 won. A total budget of 10.2967 trillion won has been allocated through the supplementary budget. The amount will vary depending on income criteria and other factors, with the general public receiving 250,000 won.

The pan-government task force will be led by the Vice Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and will consist of director-level officials from relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Justice, the Financial Services Commission, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and the National Health Insurance Service.

The task force is expected to discuss and determine detailed plans for the distribution of the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon, including criteria for selecting recipients, payment timing, eligible outlets, and application and distribution methods. At the first meeting, the task force will share its operational direction and discuss the roles of each agency and necessary cooperation measures to ensure the prompt distribution of the coupons.

Kim Minjae, Acting Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, “We hope that the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon will help citizens who are experiencing difficulties and serve as a catalyst for local economic recovery,” adding, “As soon as the supplementary budget bill is passed by the National Assembly, we will work closely with relevant agencies to ensure that citizens can receive the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon as quickly as possible.”
