The German Accelerator, a global startup program run by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "Startup Germany Night" at the Yulchon Lounge in Seoul on the 25th.

This event will be held under the theme "Expansion of Innovation: Connecting Startups, Corporations, and the Global Market." Key organizations such as the Embassy of Germany in Korea, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea International Trade Association, and the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry will participate to share knowledge on expanding innovation by connecting startups, corporations, and the global market.

Georg Schmidt, Ambassador of Germany to Korea; Lee Myungja, Head of Overseas Marketing at the Korea International Trade Association; officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; and representatives from Yulchon LLC will deliver welcoming remarks. This will be followed by a panel talk featuring Klaus Kart, Head of Asia at Start2 Group; Lee Jinhwa, Lead Manager at Hyundai Motor Group's ZER01NE; and Jinny Kim, Director at MyThings Korea.

During the event, more than 20 promising German startups will present a range of innovative solutions. Notable participating companies include Creditflow, which offers supply chain systemization solutions; Hype About Science, which develops cold plasma skincare devices; Heppe Medical Chitosan, a manufacturer of chitin and chitosan; Workist, an AI-based document processing automation company; and Mobile Vision Technology, which specializes in AI-based industrial automation.

German Accelerator is a tailored global program that supports German startups in entering major innovation hubs around the world, including Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Operated by Start2 Group, which was ranked as the third-largest startup hub in Europe by the Financial Times, the program was also ranked 14th globally among accelerator programs by CB Insights.

Meanwhile, at NextRise 2025, which will be held at COEX in Seoul from June 26 to 27, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy will organize the "German Pavilion, Startup Germany" booth. Leading German innovation organizations such as Germany Trade & Invest, the City of Dusseldorf, the Digital Hub Initiative, and Berlin Partner will also participate.
