As of 4:00 p.m. on the 20th, a heavy rain advisory accompanied by strong winds was issued for Sejong City. In response, the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters was activated and entered emergency response level 1.

On the same day, starting at 4:00 p.m., the Sejong City Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters operated the emergency situation room and closely monitored the situation.

According to the headquarters, there were no reported casualties or damage to private residences over the weekend, and only some public facilities were recorded as damaged by the heavy rain. Specifically, there were nine cases of fallen trees, two cases of soil runoff, and one case of road flooding. All restoration measures have now been completed.

Previously, the headquarters had closed the Jocheon Riverside Parking Lot and Bukamcheon Riverside Parking Lot in Jochiwon-eup, which were at risk of flooding. In addition, the Bangchukcheon, Jecheon, Samseongcheon, Jocheon, Bukamcheon, Geumgang, and Mihogang riverside trails were all closed. The Ansancheon underpass road was also designated and controlled as a flood-prone area. The Geumgang riverside road, identified as a landslide risk area, was closed from 3:00 p.m. on the 20th. Safety measures were also implemented for shade structures (180 smart-type and 200 fixed-type units) due to concerns about possible damage.

In particular, about 120 public officials were evenly deployed across each administrative district. Vulnerable facilities such as underpasses were monitored 24 hours a day according to weather conditions. The headquarters also aimed to minimize damage by providing safety information through village broadcasts and disaster text alerts for each administrative district.
