"Good Job Cafe" Women's Job Event Comes to Sangin-dong, Daegu... 14 Hires by 10 Companies

Daegu City will host the "On-the-Go Women's Job 'Good Job' Cafe" event for women who are unemployed or have experienced career interruptions and are seeking employment. The event will take place on June 23, starting at 11 a.m. at Cafe Vics (Daegu Metro Line 1, Sangin Station Exit 4).

The event is organized by the Sindalseo Women's New Employment Center and will feature participation from 10 companies, with plans to hire approximately 14 women. The recruitment will be conducted through both direct hiring?where one company hires one person on the spot after an on-site interview?and indirect hiring, where job seekers are recommended to companies (9 companies, 13 positions). The available positions include care worker, meal service cook, cleaner, and manufacturing production roles.

On-site interviews will be held at 11 locations, including Mosim Home Care Welfare Center. Indirect hiring will be conducted by 9 organizations: Hanseo Home Elderly Welfare Center, Vision Digitech, Hyosung Group Home, Suseong Yoonjeong Silver Town, Chamjoeun Nursing Home, Geumhwa Trading, Samsung Oncare Nursing Home, Erom System, and Hyundai Medical Foundation Dalseong Nursing Hospital.

Additionally, a variety of employment support services will be offered, including one-on-one customized job counseling that takes into account individual experience, age, and duration of career interruption; the provision of job information; writing messages of encouragement for job seekers; a lucky spin wheel; and stress assessment.

This event is supported by Cafe Vics, which is providing the venue so that job seekers can participate in a comfortable environment. Souvenirs and beverages will also be provided to participants who wish to register for employment and receive career counseling.
