Recall Applies to Products Manufactured on June 12

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on June 20 that it has ordered the suspension of sales and recall of the bread product "Sweet Potato Cake (No. 1)," manufactured by Hansalim Woorimil Bakery, a food manufacturing and processing company in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, and sold by Hansalim Business Federation, a specialized distribution and sales company, after Staphylococcus aureus, a food poisoning bacterium, was detected in the product.
The recall applies to products marked with the manufacturing date of June 12, 2025.
The Ministry stated that the Anseong City Government has been instructed to promptly carry out the recall of the affected product. Consumers who purchased the product are urged to stop consuming it and return it to the place of purchase.
