The 14th Uljin Geumgangsong Cup National Tennis Tournament for Amateurs to Be Held
Over 600 Participants from Across the Country... Scheduled for June 21-22 in Uljin
Uljin County in North Gyeongsang Province will host the 14th Uljin Geumgangsong Cup National Tennis Tournament for Amateurs over two days from June 21 to 22, 2025.
This tournament is organized by the Korea Tennis Association and co-hosted by the Uljin County Sports Council and the Uljin County Tennis Association. Matches will take place at eight tennis courts in the county, including the Uljin Indoor Tennis Court.
More than 600 amateur players from across the country are expected to participate, competing in four divisions: Men's Open, Regional Rookie, Gaenari, and National Rookie.
Uljin County sees this tournament as an opportunity to promote its sports infrastructure as well as its pristine natural environment and tourism resources. The region is especially recognized for having the lowest levels of ultrafine dust nationwide, providing participants with a healthy and pleasant environment for the competition.
County Governor Son Byeongbok said, "I hope amateur players from all over the country will fully demonstrate their skills and create special memories in Uljin, a place where wellness and healing coexist. We will continue to actively attract various national-level sports tournaments to invigorate the local economy and further strengthen Uljin's status as a sports city."
