Efforts to Improve Corruption-Prone Areas
Led by Senior Public Officials
On June 19, Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held a "Strategy Meeting for Improvement of Corruption-Prone Areas" in the main conference room of Yangsan City Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to diagnose factors vulnerable to corruption within the organization and to develop improvement measures based on this analysis.

All public officials at the managerial level of grade 5 or higher attended the meeting to discuss ways to enhance Yangsan's integrity and foster a clean integrity ecosystem. The meeting particularly emphasized the need to diagnose the current state of integrity through in-depth analysis of different types of corruption and to improve the organizational culture toward greater integrity.
During the meeting, Mayor Na Dongyeon and the managerial officials reaffirmed their commitment to integrity and participated in the meeting by setting an example. They proposed new policies to enhance integrity and shared a variety of opinions to develop effective improvement measures.
The participants also specified practical methods necessary for establishing an integrity ecosystem and engaged in in-depth discussions on ways to address specific factors that make the organization vulnerable to corruption.
Mayor Na Dongyeon stated, "This strategy meeting will serve as a turning point for Yangsan City to establish itself as a center of integrity culture," and emphasized, "Yangsan City will continue to seek out and implement various measures to further enhance integrity."
