Seo-gu, Gwangju Recruiting Participants for 'Master Success School' Until June 25

Mentoring and Know-how Sharing with Korea's Master Artisans

Seo-gu, Gwangju is recruiting participants for the second session of the 'Master Success School,' a program held in collaboration with Korea's master artisans, to strengthen the competitiveness of young entrepreneurs. Applications are open until June 25.

According to Seo-gu on June 20, the Master Success School is a program for young entrepreneurs in the food service industry, featuring Master Chef Ahn Yoosung (CEO of Gamaeilsik) in the culinary field and Master Baker Ma Okcheon (CEO of Bebier) in the baking and confectionery field.


Participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one intensive mentoring with Korea's master artisans over a two-month period, learn master recipes and business know-how, and take part in performance sharing sessions and networking events.


The program is open to a total of 10 young entrepreneurs: 5 in the culinary field and 5 in the baking and confectionery field. Applications can be submitted in person at the Seo-gu Office's Youth Employment Support Division or via email by June 25.


Jeong Myeongsuk, head of the Youth Employment Support Division, stated, "Seo-gu is actively supporting the growth of young entrepreneurs through collaboration with Korea's master artisans in the region," and added, "We will continue to discover and operate effective programs to revitalize the local economy and strengthen the foundation for youth self-reliance."


Meanwhile, last year, five young entrepreneurs participated in the Master Success School, including Soontan Gogi and Briti Gallery Cafe, achieving an average sales increase of 73% through the mentoring provided by the two masters.
