The Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Promotion is recruiting participants for the 'Startup Academy Investment Attraction Capacity Building Course' until July 6.
The target participants include prospective entrepreneurs in Gyeonggi Province, employees and executives of startup companies, and university (including graduate) students. The entire course will be provided free of charge.
This program has been organized to increase the success rate of investment attraction, which is the greatest challenge for startup companies. Depending on entrepreneurial experience and understanding, the course is divided into a basic course and a practical course, with 50 participants selected for each course, totaling 100 participants. The training will be conducted offline and will be operated separately in the northern and southern regions of Gyeonggi Province to promote balanced development of the local startup ecosystem.

The instructors are current investment professionals, including Lee Eunyoung, Head of Investment Strategy at CNT Tech; Kang Sinil, Vice President of MY Social Company; Cho Kyungsik, CEO of SJM Investment; and Kim Jongho, Executive Director at eCrux Venture Partners.
Lim Jongbin, Head of the Startup Division at the Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Promotion, stated, "For startups, attracting investment is a critical capability directly linked to survival," and added, "We expect that step-by-step customized education and practice-oriented programs will provide practical assistance to entrepreneurs in the province."
