Previously, the city decided on a 300-won subway fare increase through a public hearing, consultation with the Seoul Metropolitan Council, and review by the Price Countermeasure Committee in 2023. The first increase of 150 won was implemented in October 2023, and the second increase will be applied this time.

For single-use tickets (cash), the fare will be 1,650 won for adults and teenagers, and 550 won for children.

If the card early-bird discount is applied, the fare will be 1,240 won for adults, 720 won for teenagers, and 440 won for children.

Detailed information can be found on the websites of subway operators such as Seoul Metro, the Tta App, station notices, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government website.
