The Gwangju Office of Education will launch the "Jinhak Dream Mentoring" program on June 21 to support career and academic planning for children under protection.
According to the Gwangju Office of Education on June 19, this program provides customized career lectures and individual academic counseling for students living in child care facilities and group homes. The initiative, which began last year, will continue this year as well.
The program involves the Gwangju Career and Academic Guidance Team, specialized academic counselors from the Bitgoeul Dream Tree Career and Academic Counseling Band, and the education office's academic team. The welfare team has also expanded participation by confirming the intent to participate from local facilities.
On June 21 at 10 a.m., the Gwangju Office of Education plans to hold an explanatory session titled "Jinhak Dream Mentoring: Academic Counseling Outreach to Child Care Facilities" at the auditorium of the Educational Research and Information Center.
