Hana Card and BC Card Offer Up to 3.5 Million Won in Rewards at Shinsegae Department Store

Shinsegae Card 'Birthday Week'
Includes Interest-Free Installment Benefits and More

Hana Card and BC Card announced on the 19th that they are holding an event in partnership with Shinsegae Department Store, offering rewards worth up to 3.5 million won.

Until the 29th, the 'Birthday Week' event is being held to celebrate the 56th anniversary of the launch of the Shinsegae Card.

Hana Card is offering Shinsegae Department Store rewards worth up to 7% (up to 3.5 million won) based on the payment amount (up to 50 million won) when customers use the Shinsegae-affiliated Hana Card at luxury, fashion, and accessory brands. During the same period, customers can also download and use four types of 'Happy Birthday' reward coupons?covering fashion, accessories, food, and lifestyle?on the Shinsegae application, and these coupons can be used together.

BC Card is also providing Shinsegae Department Store rewards based on payment amounts to all customers who use any BC Card, including the Shinsegae BC Baro Card, at Shinsegae Department Stores nationwide during the same period. Rewards worth up to 3.5 million won will be automatically granted.

Additionally, from today until the 22nd, Hana Card is offering a 30,000 won statement discount or cashback service for single transactions of 1 million won or more. This is an increase from the previous discount range of 10,000 to 20,000 won. BC Card is also providing an additional statement discount of up to 20,000 won for customers who spend 1 million won or more with affiliated cards by the 22nd, without requiring a separate event application.

Both companies are offering interest-free installment plans. For the Shinsegae-affiliated Hana Card, customers can receive 2-3 months of interest-free installments for transactions of 50,000 won or more, and up to 6 months for transactions of 1 million won or more. BC Card is providing up to 12 months of interest-free installments for customers who spend 50,000 won or more with affiliated cards until the 30th.

A Hana Card representative stated, "Next month, we plan to launch a new card specializing in overseas travel services with enhanced Shinsegae Department Store benefits," and added, "We will continue to introduce new products and hold events featuring Shinsegae Department Store benefits in the second half of the year."

Kim Minkwon, Executive Director at BC Card, commented, "We will continue our efforts to provide special benefits exclusively for BC Baro Card customers at Shinsegae Department Store and various other partner locations."

Lee Sunghwan, Executive Director at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "The Shinsegae Card Birthday Week is an event newly planned in collaboration with five partner card companies at the end of the first half of the year," and added, "We will continue to hold events together with partner card companies in the second half of the year as well."
