Good People and NH Investment & Securities Donate Supplies to Children in Rural Areas Affected by Wildfires

International relief and development NGO Good People (President Kim Cheonsu) announced on June 18 that, together with NH Investment & Securities (CEO Yoon Byungwoon), it provided supplies to children in rural areas affected by wildfires in celebration of Family Month.

The donation ceremony for the supplies was held on June 17 at the Good People headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and was attended by Gu Yeongmo, Executive Director of Good People, Choi Hongseok, Head of ESG Promotion Department at NH Investment & Securities, and others.

This support targeted child welfare facilities in Andong and Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, which suffered significant damage from wildfires last spring. Good People and NH Investment & Securities prepared supplies worth a total of 78.87 million won, including 366 stationery sets, 321 granola sets, and 368 chocolate sets, and delivered them to about 300 children.

Notably, all of the stationery and snacks provided this time were produced by 'Bravo Beaver,' a standard workplace for people with disabilities. Earlier this year, NH Investment & Securities also supported rural children with supplies worth 50 million won in partnership with Good People.

Choi Hongseok, Head of ESG Promotion Department, said, "I hope these gifts bring warmth and joy to children who must have experienced great fear due to the wildfires," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility together with Good People and carry out various activities that provide practical help to the local community."

Kim Cheonsu, President of Good People, stated, "Since the wildfires in North Gyeongsang Province, Good People has carried out various support activities," and added, "We will continue to help children maintain hope even in disaster situations through cooperation with various organizations."
