"Overcoming Blood Supply Shortages"... POSCO Pohang Steelworks Executives and Employees Join Blood Donation of Love

Voluntary Blood Donation by Executives and Employees on June 17-18

POSCO Pohang Steelworks held a "Blood Donation of Love" event for POSCO executives and employees over two days on June 17 and 18.

An employee of POSCO Pohang Steelworks is participating in a blood donation event of love.

This event was organized to support the local community and neighbors amid recent difficulties in securing sufficient blood supplies. It was carried out voluntarily by executives and employees in cooperation with the Ulsan Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross.

Participants in the event were also given the chance to win prizes such as travel vouchers and book gift cards, adding to the sense of fulfillment and enjoyment from donating blood.

An employee of Pohang Steelworks who participated in the blood donation said, "Although it is a small act, I feel rewarded by the thought that it can save someone's life," and added, "I will continue to participate in blood donation in the future."

POSCO Pohang Steelworks plans to continue practicing warm sharing through various social contribution activities together with the local community.
