The Songhak Burial Mounds District, located near the Songhak Burial Mounds and covering an area of 50,000 square meters, was selected for the urban regeneration project competition in 2020. Construction began in 2021 with a project budget of 6.63 billion won, and the facility was completed after five years.

Although the district is located within Goseong-eup, it has a high elderly population and is relatively underdeveloped. As the first urban regeneration project zone actively promoted by Goseong County, the project aims to revitalize the stagnant village and transform it into a more livable community.

The main projects include the Eoullim Saetteo hub facility, which is equipped with a healthcare room and a multipurpose conference room, as well as an eco-friendly village parking lot, a home repair project, and the improvement of village roads. Most notably, the long-standing wish of residents was fulfilled by constructing and relocating a new senior citizens' center to replace the old, deteriorated one.

In addition, to build urban regeneration capacity, Goseong County carried out an urban regeneration college, a resident documentation project, advanced site visits, and home repair education. The village women's association operates the 'Muhak Jeonggeojeong' cafe, providing a place of rest for both residents and visitors.

County Governor Lee Sanggeun said, "I hope that 'Eoullim Saetteo' will become a home where residents can come together and share warmth for a long time, and Goseong County will do its utmost to support this."
