Gwangju Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center Launches Digital Capability Enhancement Training for Businesses

The Gwangju Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center of the Korea Labor Foundation (Director Kim Insu, hereinafter referred to as the 'Gwangju Center') announced on June 18 that it will launch the 'Digital Doctor' program to support the enhancement of digital capabilities for businesses, in collaboration with KTcs Jeonnam Digital Learning Center (Director Cho Yoonjung) and Gukje Gwangju Digital Learning Center (Chairman Kim Jeongsu), starting from June 20.

'Digital Doctor' is part of the employer support package operated by the Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center. It is an on-site, hands-on digital education program jointly promoted by the Honam Branch of the Korea Labor Foundation and the Digital Learning Centers of the Honam and Jeju regions.

This program has been prepared to provide practical support for the capacity building of small and medium-sized enterprises, at a time when digital transformation has emerged as a core management challenge for businesses.

The main training topics include: ▲ smart working tools utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI), ▲ work efficiency tools such as ChatGPT, and ▲ social networking service (SNS) marketing methods for corporate promotion. The program will be conducted as customized on-site training for each company. Companies interested in the employer support package or customized corporate training can contact the Gwangju Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center for more information.

Kim Insu, Director of the Gwangju Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center, stated, "This 'Digital Doctor' program will provide tailored training that companies in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions can immediately apply in the field," and added, "We will actively support the successful second life planning of the middle-aged and senior population through a variety of corporate support programs."
