Silla University Youth Support Center Launches Youth Employment Support Initiative

The Busan Metropolitan City Youth Support Center, operated by Silla University, is establishing a cooperative system to support youth employment.


The center announced on the 18th that it had signed a business agreement with the Busan Northern Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the 17th and will officially begin its employment support service project for young people.


Choi Seonkyung, Director of the Center, Min Kwangje, Director of the Busan Northern Branch, and Jeon Hwanggyu, Director of the Busan Northern Employment Welfare Plus Center, as well as other officials, attended the signing ceremony.


Through this agreement, both parties have agreed to cooperate in various fields, including linking employment support services, providing support for start-ups and labor law, integrated career guidance, and promoting the National Employment Support System. They shared the goal of providing practical assistance to young people facing difficulties entering society.


With this agreement, the center plans to offer customized employment support services such as career counseling and resume and self-introduction letter management, as well as providing information on job openings and vocational training, and basic labor law consultations.


Min Kwangje, Director of the Busan Northern Branch, said, "We will continue to expand support so that young people can explore a variety of careers that match their aptitudes and talents."


Choi Seonkyung, Director of the Center, stated, "We will lay a solid foundation so that young people can find stable jobs and become self-reliant," adding, "By combining the expertise of both institutions, we will strengthen youth-tailored employment support services."
