Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for trainees for the Future Technology School's Semiconductor Process Equipment Engineer Course until July 11.

Pyeongtaek City Future Technology School Recruiting Trainees for Semiconductor Process Equipment Engineer Course

The Future Technology School is a free training program operated in collaboration with Gyeonggi Province, Pyeongtaek City, Pyeongtaek Industry Promotion Agency, and Pyeongtaek University to cultivate practical talent needed in the semiconductor industry.


This course features a field-oriented curriculum, covering everything from semiconductor process theory to hands-on training with process equipment. A total of 40 trainees will be selected. The program supports employment through interview coaching and job placement programs, and graduates with an attendance rate of 90% or higher will receive a training allowance of up to 360,000 won.


Applicants must be Gyeonggi Province residents aged 15 or older who wish to pursue a career in the semiconductor field. Pyeongtaek City residents will receive additional points during the interview process.


The city will select trainees through document screening and interviews, and the training course will begin on July 21. Theoretical classes will be held at Pyeongtaek University, while practical training will take place in the cleanroom at Kookje University.
