"We Remember the Practice of Warm Sharing"... Goryeong County Holds Donor Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province held the "2025 First Half Goryeong County Donor Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" at the main building of the county office on June 17 to honor donors who have consistently practiced sharing in the local community.

During the event, nameplates engraved with the names of 15 new donors were added to the Hall of Fame. The county also presented certificates of sharing to these donors to express its gratitude.

As a result, a total of 195 names are now listed in the Goryeong County Hall of Fame.

The donors inducted this time include individuals, companies, and organizations whose total donations to various funds?such as the Community Chest, Education Development Fund, and Hometown Love Donation?exceeded a certain threshold as of March 31, 2025.

County Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "The warm hearts of donors toward Goryeong are spreading a positive influence," and added, "We will create a Goryeong County where sharing is a part of everyday life by promoting a culture of giving."

To promote a culture of giving and strengthen recognition for donors, Goryeong County established the Donor Hall of Fame in the lobby on the first floor of the main county office building in December of last year. The county holds induction ceremonies in both the first and second halves of each year to express gratitude for contributions to the local community.
