CGV and the band's agency, JYP Entertainment, announced on June 18 that the road movie 'Six Days' (6DAYS), which captures the musical journey of the band DAY6, will be released in August.
The film follows a six-day journey filled with music and romance. Rather than simply presenting a concert film or a travelogue, it unfolds as a narrative-driven road movie based on a scenario. It is co-produced by MBC and DEJONG FILM, with CGV ICECON and CJ 4DPLEX jointly investing in and distributing the film.
The movie depicts DAY6, having successfully completed their world tour, as they travel to Los Angeles (LA), United States, and spend six days experiencing youth. During this time, the members encounter unexpected relationships and unforeseen events in unfamiliar surroundings, and, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary since debut, they face each other with honesty.
'Six Days' will be screened not only in 2D but also in special formats such as ScreenX and 4DX. Beginning with its domestic release in August, the film will reach audiences worldwide.
