Ros?'s "Apt." Spends 34 Consecutive Weeks on Billboard Hot 100... Longest Run for a K-pop Song

The hit song "Apt." (APT.), performed as a collaboration between BLACKPINK's Ros? and pop star Bruno Mars, has remained on the US Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart for 34 consecutive weeks. This marks the longest run ever for a K-pop song.

According to the latest chart released on June 17 (local time), "Apt." held steady at No. 24, the same position as the previous week. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 33 consecutive weeks set by BTS's Jimin with his solo second album title track "Who," making "Apt." the K-pop song with the longest presence on the Hot 100 chart.

"Apt." debuted at No. 8 on the chart in October of last year, entering the Hot 100's top 10. Immediately after its release, the catchy line "Apt. Apt.~" and the collaboration with Bruno Mars drew global attention. Although its ranking temporarily dropped at the end of the year due to the seasonal dominance of carol songs, the song rebounded at the start of the new year as carols exited the chart, eventually climbing to a peak of No. 3, the highest position ever achieved by a K-pop female artist.

Since then, "Apt." has consistently remained in the upper ranks of the Hot 100, maintaining its long-term popularity.
