On June 18, Bithumb announced that it is launching two market information notification services for those considering the timing of virtual asset investments.
Bithumb has introduced the "Rise Signal" service, which predicts and notifies users of assets with a high potential for price increases. "Rise Signal" is based on Bithumb's proprietary algorithm and provides real-time analysis of assets that show upward signals among four indicators: price, trading volume, average order volume, and inflow of buying power.
According to Bithumb's internal testing, the prediction accuracy of the Rise Signal service averaged 79%. Prediction accuracy refers to the probability that the relevant indicator will rise by more than 1% within 12 hours. Specifically, the accuracy rates were 85% for price surges, 80% for trading volume spikes, 73% for average order volume surges, and 78% for inflow of buying power.
The Rise Signal service is available on Bithumb's KRW market. When a rise signal is detected, a flame icon appears next to the asset name on the exchange's virtual asset list. By selecting the Rise Signal theme, users can view only those assets where a signal has been detected, and they can also receive real-time notifications by enabling alerts.
However, this service provides predictive information based on historical data and does not guarantee profits. The accuracy of the signal may decrease as more time passes after the notification is sent.
Additionally, Bithumb has launched a new "Bithumb Official Real-Time Alerts" Telegram channel. This channel automatically detects key signals such as rapid price fluctuations, large transactions, surges in buying or selling power, and Kimchi Premium assets, delivering real-time updates on market trends that investors might otherwise miss.
A special event is also being held to celebrate the launch of the Telegram channel. Any Bithumb member who joins the new "Bithumb Official Real-Time Alerts" channel and applies for the event through Bithumb's announcements can receive 3,000 KRW. This benefit can be withdrawn after completing at least one virtual asset transaction, and will expire if there is no transaction history by the 10th of the month following the month of payment.
A Bithumb representative stated, "The Rise Signal and real-time alert channel are tools designed to provide investors with timely information to help them make more agile investment decisions. We will continue to enhance various convenience and support features so that our customers can make rational investment decisions based on data."
